How TagX pricing works

No hidden tooling costs and no engineering overhead on your side. You pay for clean, delivered data — scoped to exactly what you need. Here's how it works and what drives the price.

Managed data (DaaS)

We scope each project to your sources, fields, volume and schedule, then build, run and maintain the pipeline. You receive clean, validated data — no proxies, parsers or engineers on your side. Priced per project / per feed.

Data APIs

Ready-to-use endpoints (Ecommerce, Travel, SERP, Stock Market, Social Listening). The Ecommerce API is pay-per-success — you only pay for successful calls, failed calls cost nothing.

What drives cost

Sources & volume

How many sites/APIs, and how many records per run.

Refresh frequency

Real-time, hourly, daily, weekly — more frequent means more infrastructure.

Fields & complexity

Simple listings vs. deep, structured records with enrichment and QA.

Delivery & integration

JSON/CSV, API, S3/GCS, warehouse (BigQuery/Snowflake) or dashboards.

Why teams start with a sample, not a contract

A free sample before you commit

Tell us the sites and fields you need and we'll send a real, sanitized sample dataset — typically in 2 business days. No commitment.

30-day parallel run

Already using another provider? Run TagX side by side with your current feed for 30 days and compare quality, coverage and freshness before you switch.

Pay-per-success billing

On our Ecommerce API you only pay for successful calls — failed calls cost you nothing. You pay for data you actually receive, not attempts.

Straight talk from customers

“Fair to say: the data's been good and the API is clean. I'll say this though — when we scaled up a feed in Q3 we hit a throughput ceiling nobody flagged at onboarding and it sat for two days while their team sorted it. Not the end of the world, but at our size I'd want that spelled out in the contract, not discovered in production. Otherwise we've quietly added a few more feeds since and it's been fine.”

Pay-per-success: you're billed for successful calls that return data. Failed calls cost nothing, so you only pay for data you actually receive.

Yes. We'll send a real, sanitized sample dataset for your use case with no commitment. If you already have a provider, we also offer a 30-day parallel run to compare side by side.
